Maybe not quite so much as “hard to see” but… I did find myself double-checking to see if they were lit. On the end of the Olight Marauder Mini flashlight is a bit of printing, along with the charging connection. Because 3 of them are colored, namely 1 Red, 1 Blue, and 1 Green, and unlike AUX LEDs, they can really throw a beam. Surrounding the rotary knob switch are indicators that display the brightness level, battery level, and three RGB light colors. For high-output lights, one of the lux meters uses an ND camera filter to prevent the lux meter to max out. Even after it reached the 10% threshold in L6 and L7, the Marauder Mini would run at a couple of hundred lumens for some time!

Following the Marauder 2's lens design and composed of 9 LEDs surrounding the center, it enables seven brightness levels that provide 200-7000 lumens. At least Olight have got rid of the proximity sensor, and I hope this trend follows on the Warrior/Warrior Mini line for which the proximity sensor prevents use in light painting tools. The capacity of this battery is 6500mAh, which is about twice the capacity of a regular 18650 battery and at least 1000mAh more than the highest capacity 21700 battery. And I’m glad to say that the battery is replaceable, so if you run out of battery while camping, you don’t need to wait 4.

With up to 7000 lumens and a maximum range of 600m, it would make a very useful addition to anyone’s outdoor gear arsenal. That means they use high-quality materials and glue things up, so you can’t accidentally get inside the flashlight and ruin something. The Mini has 2 switches and 1 lanyard attachment ring placed where the silicone doesn’t cover the flashlight body. I do wish the Mini offered USB-C charging (and possibly a powerbank feature) as the Marauder 2 does.All functions and effects of the lamp are controlled through the power switch with rotary function and the power mode switch. And since I reviewed the Olight Marauder 2, its bigger brother with 14,000 lumens, I couldn’t pass this one. Smaller in size, yet powerful:A smaller size than the previous Marauder series flashlights but with all power and function. So I think we can assume that the specifications for the Spot mode were all a bit on the conservative side.
