Brilliant! Thank You very much JaySeth for your valuable inputs. Indeed, i will wait for you to share you experience on this thread on your night drive on Pune-Mumbai Expressway..drive safe though For my Ford Ecosport, I utilised Philips H4 (90/100W) and Thimson Relay. With the current arrangement, installing this relay is quite simple and doesn't need cutting or soldering any existing wiring.

Ultimately, I have decided to upgrade all my bulbs to the Philips X-treme Vision variants, and they are fantastic! You can buy X-treme Vision bulbs in up to 100%, 130% or 150% more light. You may sacrifice longevity and bulb life, but the light output is incredible and covers more peripheral vision. Where the Philips RacingVision GT200 surpasses its predecessor, the RacingVision range, for light output, it does so at no cost to bulb lifespan. In fact, miraculously, where the RacingVision offered a bulb lifetime of up to 200 hours, the experts in Philips' engineering teams have endowed the new RacingVision GT200 range with an expected bulb lifespan of up to 250 hours. Given the enormous enhancements to light output already achieved, this extra lifespan is a definite bonus. Thankfully, Philips RacingVision GT200 is also fully tested and ECE-certified for road legal use on all public roads and highways. Unlike other 150% upgrade bulbs, these H7 X-tremeVision Pro150 headlight bulbs last on average for up to 450 hours. That’s more than double the lifespan of other 150% bulbs on the market.

Where neither bulb range has a particular flaw, the biggest difference that might hold sway between the RacingVision GT200 and X-tremeVision Pro150 is the extra 50% light that the RacingVision GT200 boasts. Though it is worth remembering that where this is a significant increase in light output, it does come at the cost of a reduced bulb lifespan – 250 hours compared with the X-tremeVision Pro150's whopping 450 hours. This is not a great result for Osram’s standard bulb, but at least it complied with the ECE 99 light-output requirements. Just as with the performance version (below left), we suspect build problems with this pair, because their performance proved to be no match for not just the X-tremeVision, but also stablemate Ring’s standard bulb. Lumens (denoted by lm) are a measure of the total amount of visible light (to the human eye) from a bulb or light source Intention of this thread: I searched TBHP posts, but, wasn't clear with the information i got. I need advice from our knowledgeable members on: This Ring was close to the 200-metre mark in the distance test and pipped the uprated Osram for maximum brightness. In the light lab there was a good spread of light, with a clear hot spot close to the 75-metre mark. A strong all-round performance.

Of course, with some poorly designed bulbs, increased light doesn't necessarily mean increased vision. It is crucial that where extra brightness is achieved, that light is put to good effect and is positioned to accurately frame the road ahead. Thankfully, Philips' engineering team has proved themselves more than up to the task. The X-tremeVision Pro150 has a perfectly accurate beam that enables it to illuminate up to an extra 70 metres of the road ahead. Software then measures the light at various points in the beam. It’s an unusual, if not unique, set-up, but the results have been corroborated by tests at parent company Osram’s conventional light tunnel in Germany, which we have used in the past. As is evident from the picture, on a dark night, the Extreme Vision sufficiently illuminates the road ahead. The beams themselves could reach further, but the falling snow obstructs how much farther the X-treme vision extends. I bought these to replace the standard H7's on Astra J which seemed dim, they definitely provide a much brighter light. With two such supreme, similar bulbs as the Philips RacingVision GT200 and X-tremeVision Pro150, it's practically impossible to choose a 'best' option! Both bulbs offer big improvements to light output and give drivers with halogen headlight bulbs the chance to drive with impressive vision and visibility, while remaining road legal.Even among these, there are multiple confusing options. Philips Xtreme Vision G-Force mentions H1, H3, H4, H7, H11, HB3, HB4, HIR2. Which is the right one for Jazz ? Philips have also designed their X-tremeVision Pro150 headlight bulbs range to scrupulous production standards in compliance with ECE homologation regulations – meaning they are completely road legal for public usage. And with a lifespan of up to 450 hours, the X-tremeVision Pro150 even matches its predecessor, the Philips X-tremeVision, for longevity. With all of this, I can say that a pair of well performing halogen bulbs are the best. And they are cheaper. This is on the type of bulbs. Color temperature is an indication of colour and not to be confused with heat. Color temperatures over 5,000K are called cool co

Let's first take a look at the X-tremeVision Pro150. Taking over the reins from the massively popular X-tremeVision range of car headlight bulbs, this range carries on the X-tremeVision tradition of offering huge lighting improvements. Where the X-tremeVision offered improved light output up to 130% brighter than a standard halogen, the X-tremeVision Pro150 ups the ante, offering a remarkable extra 20% increase. As such, the X-tremeVision Pro150 offers an immense, Maximum Performance light, with an up to 150% increase in terms of brightness. Customers in the UK, US & Canada can also use our express delivery service. Delivery times for this service are: Many aftermarket headlight bulbs come equipped with fans or heat-dissipating materials like aluminium. Cooler bulbs tend to have longer lifespans, hence super bright headlight bulbs often require heat sinks and turbo fans to handle the excess heat they generate. The Sonicare brush head replacement subscription is all about bringing convenience to your healthy smile. In a similar vein to the X-tremeVision Pro150, the RacingVision GT200 is another improved update on a previously existing Philips halogen car bulbs range: the Philips RacingVision. Much like its namesake, the Philips RacingVision GT200 is a Maximum Performance halogen headlight bulb, capable of achieving breathtaking amounts of light on the road. Amazingly, where the RacingVision already boasted a huge illumination increase (up to 150% brighter than standard), the RacingVision GT200 achieves a miraculous light up to 200% brighter than a standard halogen bulb. The Figure of Merit for HID is close to double that of the halogen, with a beam that’s 30 or so metres longer. Again these are from what I read on the forum and beyond, no experience though and it might not be accurate.

Starting from the completion of this transaction, you will automatically receive 1 brush head every 3 months, until you have notified us that you wish to pause or cancel your subscription. Great bulbs at a good price. Replaced the front pair with Philips I did have Osram Nightbreaker in. The Philips out perform them in every way. Superior to origional halogen bulb, much better reach of light and good beam pattern, would of liked them to of provided better light in heavy rain or poor conditions but never the less still a good set of lights. Hoping their life expectancy is going to to be much longer than the warrenty for the price of them though.. fingers crossed.Think about what the X-tremeVision Pro150's extra light means in terms of your driving experience. Such a massively enhanced light allows for added vision on the road, but it also helps alert other drivers on the road to your presence. Driving from this position of improved light has the extra benefit of improving one's comfort and safety on the road.
