At the time of writing this article I’ve clocked less than 10 hours of gameplay, but I’m liking what I’ve seen so far. The print quality is incredibly high, perfectly showing the artist's original intentions and interpretrations. This edition comes with a 256-page art book featuring many concepts, sketches and pictures made and used for the development of the game. Equally as disturbing are some of the early concepts for the stillmothers, arguably the game’s most chilling element. The second edition is an ultra-limited of 30 units, featuring one original signed art piece in each unit from Yoji Shinkawa, and a tip-in sheet signed by Shinkawa and Hideo Kojima, the game creator of DEATH STRANDING.

Five years before the events of the main story the parents of the Chiral Artist were murdered by a gang, of which the Junk Dealer was a member, but who left in horror due to this violent act and saved the girl in the process. Though the rest of the cast receives understandably less attention, I still liked seeing some of the other ways their designs could have gone.
