Parts-wise, as a mech fan it's nice to see the new for this year "shoulder joint" piece in another color. I would recommend it 10/10 for either a gift or even having it for yourself if you’re a star wars fan!

The technic beams remain exposed on the feet which is unfortunate as there should be more white covering that area.Fans will be delighted by other authentic details, such as the translucent elements on the back of the head that indicate BD-1’s mood, plus a compartment for stim canister elements. But because of the limitations of his posing, the final model doesn’t equate to much more than a statue.
