About this deal

The recipe comes from Julia Turshen’s new cookbook Simply Julia, which is packed with 110 recipes for healthy comfort food. Hidden Valley ranch dressing also makes a delicious addition to sandwiches, tacos and burgers, or as a dip with a vegetable tray or tortilla chips. If they taste and smell fine and don’t contain mold, there are still several ways to use them, such as in smoothies and sauces, to make chocolate mousse, added to brownies/ cake, etc. With black sesame seeds for a hint of nuttiness, fruity tomato flakes, and crushed chilli – you can dial up the spice to suit you.

As the name suggests, this avocado topping goes particularly well with avocados – regardless of whether you’re enjoying them on their own, in a sandwich or in a salad. Some of my favorite options include sourdough from a bakery, Trader Joe’s Sprouted Wheat Sourdough Bread, or Dave’s Killer Bread Organic 21 Whole Grains and Seeds.
