About this deal

Ricochet: An Addicted Novel” is a modern masterpiece, a powerful novel that can be read on its own. This novel is written by Krista Ritchie. She is a true storyteller, and Ricochet is her best book. It’s an epic tale of family, secrets, loss, marriage, betrayal, friendships, laughter, and regrets. Ricochet is a heartfelt novel written with compassion and hope, reconciling the past to pave a road to happiness and second chances. The characters in this novel bring life and heart to this story, each with a distinct voice and personality. They made reader love them, they made reader sad, they made reader angry, they made reader laugh, they made reader cry, and they made reader believe in the promise of love and home. It is an extraordinary piece of work, a perfect balancing act with terror on one side and love on the other.

overall plot, premise, and random shit - this is a like novella or something so its more character driven but that doesnt exempt it from being bad 😭😭 " this is a novella its not gonna be state of the art quality " no one cares assess ur reviewing priorities because they do not sound quality 🙏 overall the book was just boring like god i love boring shit but this was just,,,, not good . the first book started out so strong and then,,,,I love Lily and Loren so much. They showed so much growth and I'm excited to see them evolve while also rooting for them to be happy together and as individuals. Elise Laird made for quite a heroine. She was a woman willing to play with fire whether she got burned or not. She was determined, passionate and had an inner beauty that didn’t go unnoticed. I love how the secondary characters were also highlighted here-- like Daisy and Ryke's romantic build-up and Rose and Connor's irresistibly charming love affair. I just wish that there's more Lo and Lily phone/Skype interaction here and better yet, a Lo POV.

we see much more of lily’s bond with them. ryke turns into lil‘s nr. 1 support person as he has promised lo to take of her while he‘s not around. i love her sister rose for helping lilly find a therapist and a place to stay in the meantime. Ben Coes, New York Times bestselling author of international espionage thrillers featuring Dewey Andreaspain, happiness, joy and hurt ricochet from each path taken and from each memory uncovered. one decision can change my life forever.“ First, with how Lily had this universal thought and believing that her addiction problem wasn’t tangible because she never had a triggering event to detonate it. It just happened and she just became a sex addict without any traumatizing event. She downplayed what she was going through and believed that everyone would think and do the same. Tengo muy claro que en estas novelas es algo totalmente secundarios, que lo importante es esa trama y que la autora lo pone, como un aliciente más, pero sin ser el centro de la historia. Loren Hale’s best friend is his bottle of bourbon. Lily comes at a close second. For three years, they’ve pretended to be in a real relationship, hiding their addictions from their families. They’ve mastered the art of concealing flasks and random guys that filter in and out of their apartment.

Detective Duncan has to go to Judge Cato Laird's house because his wife, Elise, killed a thief in self-defense because she claims that he wanted to shoot her first. Ryke, his character was disturbing in this book, his devotion for helping Lo in the previous one was admirable but his obstinacy to remind Lily about her addiction and in how Lo was better off without her was irritating. The way he was talking to Daisy wasn’t appropriate, at all, and portrayed his personnage in more of an ugly way.if someone were to ask me which book makes me feel comfort, i would name this book series without hesitation. A similar thing happened when Duncan asked Elise about her meetings in hotel rooms with Coleman. She said they were “friends” about 20 times. But she never clarified or gave details to Duncan. Duncan did some investigating and got a different opinion, and by the end of the book, I was still unclear. I can assume something, but I wish the author had been clearer. I was annoyed that again Elise never gave details about this to Duncan when she was asking for his trust and help.

Overall, I wouldn’t particularly recommend this novel from Brown. I did enjoy her “Mirror Image” more than this one (even with that book’s problems) and you can find my review of “Mirror” here 👉 https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I loved Lo more than Lil in the beginning (I mean he's just impossible not to adore), but she's also now growing on me, MY GIRL IS BECOMING SO MATURE 🤭💅 OW/OM drama: I'm going to say no. The heroine's husband really wasn't OM drama. He was a key player in the book, but a very terrible man.
