About this deal

Paul speaks about his time in the steel industry, heavy drinking from his twenties and how it all seemed very normal at the time. He put a lot of emphasis on takeaway food being bad which is a very antiquated and myopic way of thinking. The Unexpected Shortcut to Finding Happiness, Health and Financial Freedom by Sean Alexander in PDF EPUB format complete free. In other words, you're actually missing out quite a bit more when you don't give an alcohol-free life a genuine try. I hope the podcasts provide hope and inspiration for people that listen as I know the biggest thing that made me realise I needed help was listening to addicts and relating to their former lives.

Imagine the difference in your life if you were to take those side effects away and save the money to fund what you really want to do with your life – and there's a strong chance it involves something a whole lot more fulfilling than a glass of wine or bottle of beer. I speak to Katie about her sober story, navigating life at 25 sober and how she has grown up with a parent in AA.We talk about how rugby (he's a kiwi) and booze go hand in hand, how men get social anxiety as well and how stoicism is a great way to live life.

Paul lost his brother to suicide in September 2019 and we both open up about our own times where suicide was an option and how we want more men to talk openly about when they are feeling shit. I am currently sober and never considered the time I've reclaimed and a circuit class on sunday at 9am was a first! Repeating the same message twice, to help it sink in, is fine but any more than that and its like you're trying to bump up a word count! Even if you’re just wanting to cut way back on your alcohol consumption, this book with provide guidance to help you along the way.The more subtle argument that I felt that it failed to make was "you should go from drinking occasionally/moderately to not drinking at all". Like I said, it’s a great read to get you excited and motivated to quit, but don’t forget, for some there is still so much work to be done after quitting. years have been incredibly challenging from a financial perspective as it's a daily reminder of my troubled past. It doesn’t dwell too much on the negative impacts of alcohol (as we all know about them) but rather focuses on how much MORE you can achieve without it.
