Charles Lamb Residential Lettings Ltd is a family business that opened its doors on March 13th, 1995. Run by husband and wife team Charles & Lois Lamb, their daughter Hannah joined the team in 2001.

Since day one, our mission statement has always been “Providing a Quality Service for Landlords & Tenants” which we still stand by today.
As members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) and the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) our team is kept fully up to date on important changes in legislation so that our clients can be advised to the best of our ability. We have two qualified members in our team, Charles and Hannah, meaning we can also provide our clients with money protection insurance.
Providing a Quality Service for Landlords & Tenants
We pride ourselves on providing accurate and important information to all of our clients as well as a highly professional service. We make it our business to stay ahead of the game by ensuring that all staff are regularly sent on training courses and kept informed of any changes in legislation that effect the day to day business of the letting and management industry.
We are very lucky to have a large portfolio of tried and tested contractors to cover anything from leaking taps to full property renovation. Without them, our job would be impossible. Due to this, we are also able to offer additional services such as project management on any large scale refurbishment.

Meet the Team

Charles A Lamb FNAEA, FARLA, CRLM (Director)
I have been working in the property sector privately since 1968 and professionally since 1987. Charles Lamb Residential Lettings opened its doors on 13th March 1995 and the business has gone from strength to strength.
In 2000, I achieved my Certificate in Residential Lettings & Management which makes me a Fellow of both the National Association of Estate Agents and the Association of Residential Lettings Agents allowing me to offer my clients Money Protection as well as knowledgeable, up to date advice.

Lois Lamb (Director)
I entered the world of Residential Lettings professionally on 13th March 1995 to support my husband when the doors of Charles Lamb Residential Lettings opened, having assisted with his private portfolio for many years.
As well as being joint director of the company, my main role is staff management, health and safety, property inspections and refurbishments as and when required.

Hannah Lamb MARLA (Office Manager & Property Manager)
As the boss’s daughter, I have helped out at Charles Lamb Residential Lettings since day one. Professionally, I came on board full time in 2001 and working from the ground up, I am now qualified a ARLA agent, achieving my Technical Award in Residential Lettings & Management in 2010.
I am now working on the next stage of development to achieve my Certificate in Residential Lettings, just like Dad. My role is to ensure that both our landlords and tenants are happy, the properties are looked after and well maintained and when needed, instruct the right person to resolve any issues as quickly and as smoothly for all parties concerned.

Alison Mullinder (Accounts Manager)
After working with Charles & Lois since 2000, starting with bringing the accounts into the 21st century by going from written ledgers to fully computerised systems, my role includes the day to day running of the clients and office accounts, collection of rents, paying landlords and contractors and most importantly ensure that the books all balance at the end of each day.
Like everyone in the team, I am always available to assist with general administration and lettings negotiation as and when needed.

Alexandra Sheils (Trainee Property Management Assistant)
I am also new to Charles Lambs and recently joined in June of this year. Starting on the busiest week of the year with the student change over, I was thrown in at the deep end. My role is to assist Charles, Lois and Hannah with check-ins, check-outs, inspections etc as well as assisting Michael with general administration and Jonathan with viewings as and when needed.

Gemma Warren (Lettings Administrator)
I am the newest member of the Charles lamb team, starting in August 2011 after completing my A levels.
As the summer months are the busiest with the “student change over” time, I was thrown in at the deep end and was able to experience the office at its most demanding & challenging time of the year.
